We should not have to pretend. Any past regrets should encourage us to repent to change, not our past, but our future.

Living life without God directing is like riding in a car with no driver. Eventually you should expect the car to veer off course and crash. Repentance as a lifestyle helps to navigate a life with God in the driver's seat and the Bible as the GPS so that you know both where you are going and who is in control.
Living life Many of us mess up. We're not perfect, We have many opportunities to make atonement, this book allows us to reflect, reevaluate, and/or rededicate after life happens and the hard lessons are learned. We desire a personal relationship with God
